When you come to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church you will be greeted with a genuine sense of southern hospitality. Once you enter the worship center, there will be someone there to assist you, or answer any questions that you might have. We have children’s workers who have been screened with background checks in order to ensure that your children will have the best care possible. This will enable parents to enjoy a worship experience without concern for the well-being of their children. We are a body that does not emphasize a dress code. You will find people on a Sunday morning wearing suits/ties and dresses to jeans. Our focus is not to maintain a dress code, but to worship the Living Saviour, Jesus Christ. The following tips will help you when you choose to come visit us.
| 1. | After you have parked your vehicle, someone will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. |
| 2. | Next, greeters will welcome you at the door, providing you with an order of worship and are ready and willing to answer your questions. If you have children 3rd grade or under, ask directions to the Children's Ministry, where you can check them in to this safe and fun area. |
| 3. | As you enter the sanctuary, ushers will greet you and direct you to a seat. Our services typically begin with a time of prayer, singing, praise, and worship -- led by our choir, praise team, and/or worship leader -- followed by the offering and sermon. We invite you to participate in Christ-centered worship and typically a verse-by-verse study of God's Word. |
